Follow up to the 10 Things I was worried about on July 27, 2011

I wrote the following post on July 27, 2011 when I was 16 weeks prego.  It was funny reading it today knowing the solutions to all of these "problems" I was worried about.  I have added the answers below the worry in RED.  Chuckle with me if you'd like...and remember that God is always in control.

10 Things I'm already worried about

Ok.  So I don't know if it's the pregnancy hormones or what....but all of a sudden I have been stressing over things I wouldn't normally stress over (this soon anyway).

1.  What to wear 8 months pregnant to the PA Casino night thing in December.  Yes, I know. Crazy.  I've already been looking for a dress that won't make me look like the side of a barn. I wore a cute grey dress that I got TONS of compliments on.  And it was on sale!  Thank you Jesus!

2.  Which route I'm going to take to get Little Man to school, Baby to sitter, and me to work in the morning on time (in March).  I am on route #2 trying to find the best way.  So far, I've been on time for work both days!

3.  Where Husbands out of town rotation will be, when it will happen, and how in the world am I going to handle 2 kids all by myself.  Mom...are you reading "please come stay with me?"  Husbands first rotation is in DALLAS!!! YEAH!  Second one in Ft Worth and third in Dallas.  So far that's all we know, but it's looking good.

4.  When I go into labor, what class (or classes) will Husband be in?  Will he leave class right away?  Will he go to class the next day?  If he does, how will I handle that?  (working on putting my big girl panties on and getting over it).
I was actually 6 days late and had to be induced.  It worked out so well that it was on MLK day, so Husband was already out of school and my in-laws had plenty of time to get here and stay with Little Man for the day.  God knew the BEST way to handle that one!

5.  If it's a girl, how am I going make Little Man's room 1/2 girl 1/2 boy?  We're in a little 2 bedroom townhouse, and we AIN'T MOVIN'!  So the kiddos get to share a room! See picture below:  Turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself!

6.  Now that I am 16 weeks (4 months) prego, WHY IS EVERYONE STARING AT MY BELLY?  It doesn't look like a baby belly yet, it's just bigger than normal.  And don't remind me that I'm starting to show.  I didn't show with Little Man until 5 months, so I am well aware that I'm a few weeks early in this department.  It doesn't feel cute yet, just gross.  No real solution here.  I just had to get used to it.

7.  When the baby comes home, how is Little Man going to sleep?  Right now, we think he's a pretty heavy sleeper....but throw a crying baby into the mix...and we're not so sure! Little Man is sleeping just fine...because Baby Girl is sleeping!  All the way through the night!  Crazy, I know.

8.  When I go back to work after the baby is born...where am I going to pump?  You might have heard me say that my office is a fishbowl...I literally have an entire wall of glass.  No privacy here!  Might need to mention that at the next department meeting. So far, I've gone home everyday to pump at lunch and it has worked just fine.  Tomorrow will be the first day when I'm not going home, but I have a large storage closet next to my office with a plug...so we're going to try that.  Should work out just fine.

9.  What are we going to name this baby if it's a boy?  Girl name is already picked out...but the boy is a little harder!
When we found out it was a girl, there were no other discussions needed! Another THANK YOU JESUS!

10.  How are we going to get 2 car seats in my car and in the truck?  And which side is Little Man going to have to sit on?  (yes, he's still in the middle). See picture below.  They both fit! Whew. And Little Man is so excited that he can now roll down the window when he needs to let out his farts.  Yes.  It's true.

All of these things are minor... I know.  But still....
