So Husband has been back in school for 2 full weeks now, and all I can say is WOW! Much less stressful that I expected. Husband has taken summer courses before and most of the time they are hell on wheels! They cram so much information into those 4 weeks sessions that you can hardly breathe! But so far (knock on wood), this summer session has not been bad. The schedule has allowed for at least 2 full days a week of scheduled "self study" time, which means Husband can study during the day while I'm at work and Little Man is at summer camp. We've had lots of dinners together and were even able to watch an entire movie together last night! What? On a Tuesday? No way, you say? Yes way.
Little Man is also starting to get majorly addicted to Husbands computer. We have shown him how to get on a few kid friendly websites and he seriously knows how to play all the games and can read well enough to navigate through. It's really crazy to watch a 5 year old play computer games like a pro. I hope this isn't the start of something. Neither Husband nor I are big video-gamers, so I hope that Little Man will still love his Legos! I'm not ready for a big video gaming boy to reside in our house!
